The new food that we tried was smoothie and it was good and healthy. But one of the negative things about the smoothie is that if you added too much sugar then it tasted horrible. We put a lot of sugar but not as much as Johnny's groupe he put 6 whole cups of sugar. I would like to make a smoothie that was good for you and was good. CLICK HERE FOR A RECIPE.

Three Reasons Why
I think that both Movie and Book is great, but only one can be the best. I think that the book is better that the movie for three reasons. One of the reasons why I like the book better is because the movie changes a lot of parts that I thought was key on the way to the beginning. For example when he hits Asher that created a conflict between Asher and Jonas and I think that it was better how it was in the book. I think that since the changes happened then it does not give the person watching the same feeling as the guy reading the book. Also one of the other big changes that I did not like that was just added in and was never in the book was the Chief Elder. She never did really come up in the book and they sort of just added another character to the whole situation sort of the conflict with Asher.
Another reason why I like the book more than the movie is because of the way the actors acted. Because in the book they were usually nice and calm but in the movie the people where usually really angry and never wanted anything to be wrong. A big example is when his mom kept freaking out when he was talking about love with Lily. I think that that was a bad way to have it they should have followed the book and not have done that. Also how the Chief Elder talked to the Giver once he was talking about how he loved his daughter, she did not like it at all because she never knew what love is. Finally that is one of the bigger reasons why I think the Giver Book is better than the Movie.
One more reason why I think that the Giver book is better than the movie is because of how the story was set up. I choose this reason because they set the Giver book up well, but with the movie they did not really follow how they built up to the top. For example they added the conflict between Asher and Jonas and that never happened in the book and I think that is how they added to get to the top. Another example of them doing this is when Jonas took Gabriel from the nurturing center that never happened in the book. I think that is another example of how they did not follow the book and tried to build their own story. Now that I have given you those reasons why I think the book is better that the movie then maybe you will change your mind. There are also reasons why people think that the movie is better than the book, but that is your opinion on what you might think of the movie and the book.

I just read the short little article on how they never forget most of the things that they try to remember and on some of the ones they can remember very long things and it only takes a couple hours. I think that it is amazing how they have a photographic memory and that they can remember all of the stuff that they look at. I still don't understand how it works because modern people look at stuff and forget it the next day?

In the short story I just read he got in trouble for no real reason all he was doing was walking down a path that he has walked down for years. I can't believe after all of the nights he walked down that path he got in trouble now. I wonder if it was not just because he was walking in the night maybe it was that he did not have a wife or a Television?

What happen in the end was they just kept running away and they never really stopped. (or I don't think that they are going to stop) I think that it was a sad ending I thought with all of the detail in the middle of the book that they would have a pretty good ending. Why did Jonas not just take Gabriel out to his Auditorium why did he have to run away that was many of the options he could have done.

Jonas wanted to save Gabriel so he ran away with his fathers bike and he took Gabriel with him because the were going to release him. I can't believe that once the Giver left the whole process died and now he is starving, crying, and wet. (100% good then 5% good now) Why where they going to put Gabriel down he was not a twin of any one he was by himself.
